MR HOMES Construction (FRAMING)

IN-HOUSE CUSTOM HOME FRAMING

MR Homes Construction provides in-house custom home framing services across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Framing is one of the most critical stages of construction, and we treat it accordingly.

With our own experienced framing crew, we give homeowners and builders confidence that the structural backbone of their project is built correctly, safely, and efficiently.

Once the foundation is complete, framing is the stage where a home truly begins to take shape. Floor by floor, wall by wall, the structure comes together, setting the standard for every trade that follows.

Our focus is on workmanship, accuracy, speed, and site safety—without compromising Ontario Building Code requirements.

WHAT IS CUSTOM HOME FRAMING

Custom home framing, also known as rough framing, is the construction of the structural wood framework of a house. It forms the skeleton of the home, supporting floors, walls, and the roof system.

Because framing directly affects drywall, finishes, mechanical systems, and long-term performance, it is just as important as the foundation itself.

Proper framing ensures straight walls, correct openings, solid load paths, and a structure that passes inspection without delays. This is not a stage where shortcuts are acceptable.

WHY IN-HOUSE FRAMING MATTER

Unlike builders who fully subcontract framing, MR Homes Construction self-performs all structural framing work. This provides:

  • Tighter quality control

  • Better coordination with engineering and inspections

  • Faster framing schedules

  • More competitive structural cost per square foot

Most importantly, it ensures the structure is built exactly as designed—without miscommunication between trades.

Quality, Consistency, and Accountability

We approach framing with precision and discipline. Accurate layout, efficient material use, and clean workmanship help reduce waste and avoid downstream issues.

Our framing crews work in all conditions and maintain consistent standards from start to finish.

Because framing is done in-house, we stand fully behind the quality of our work and treat every structure as if it were our own.
